Maree Hopgood - Director
Maree Hopgood is GAT Agency’s energetic Director and Founder of the business. After studying a Bachelor of Management (Marketing) in 2008, she went on the adventure of a life time, undertaking a public relations internship in New York City. Maree worked for high end fashion designer, Brian Reyes, in the PR department during New York Fashion Week.
After the bright lights of New York city, Maree returned home to work for a major Adelaide based PR agency, where she established herself as a Senior Account Manager. During her four years at the agency she successfully managed the accounts for national brands including David Jones, Harris Scarfe and the Good Food & Wine Show, as well as local brands including The Collins Bar, the Chiropractor’s Association of South Australia and the South Australian Jockey Club.
In 2014 Maree stepped out on her own, launching GAT Agency, formally known as Girl About Town. Recognising the power of influencers, Maree bridged the gap between traditional and social media, creating effective communications strategies to align and complement the two channels. Heading into its eight year of business in 2022, GAT Agency has flourished, with an ever-growing client base and service offering including the likes of David Jones, Rundle Mall, Westfield, Vogue Festival, H&M, Hurley Hotel Group, AAMI Insurance, Howard Vineyard, Cibo Espresso and Bickfords Group of Venues.
Maree is passionate about helping others and has been a committee member for the Make-A-Wish Foundation for over eight years.

Toni Cavallaro - Account Manager
Toni started her career in the Wine and Tourism industry at the National Wine Centre after returning from living abroad in the United Kingdom. Upon finishing her degree Toni moved into the Advertising industry as a Media Manager for a major Adelaide-based Marketing agency; planning, negotiating and buying both traditional and digital media. Looking after National and South Australia accounts such as Coopers, Mercedes Benz, OTR and Network Seven, Toni delivered measurable and well-rounded campaigns, beyond expectations.
Looking to evolve her skills sets, Toni worked as the Marketing Manager at global company- Australian Institute of Business. Where she headed brand initiatives and leading campaigns in both Australia and Canada.
Specialising in content creation, SEO, social media, digital marketing, above the line marketing, PR and events, Toni is a well rounded communications professional.
Toni has taken her experience across media and marketing into her role as Account Manger - PR & Marketing at GAT Agency. Heading strategic planning and implementation across a variety of product and service based clients, Toni also works closely with Maree on Business Development for the agency.
Toni holds a Bachelor in Media, Majoring in Marketing from the University of Adelaide, which included studying Fashion Events and Public Relations in Florence Italy at the European Institute of Design.

Chloe Holliday - PR Executive
Chloe Holliday is GAT Agency’s vibrant PR & Social Media Executive. While completing a Bachelor of Communication and Media, majoring in Social Media at the University of South Australia, Chloe decided to complete her studies overseas, studying abroad at Oklahoma State University. Experiencing all that American college has to offer, Chloe participated in a number of extra-curricular activities to make the most of her time away. Sitting on the Marketing Board for the Oklahoma Craft Beer Festival, Chloe was responsible for implementing strategic communication practices, content creation and copywriting to assist with the overall event production.
Upon her return in 2020, Chloe was looking to diversify her skills and undertook a PR and Communications Internship with the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). Immersing herself in all things local football and community sport, Chloe solidified her love for social media. Chloe was responsible for developing and implementing impactful social media strategies to assist in the overall social media growth for SANFL. Additionally, Chloe was responsible for developing marketing materials, copywriting and assisting with overall media management.
After volunteering with Tasting Australia as a media advisor, Chloe joined GAT Agency in 2021 and has taken her knowledge and experience to her role as PR & Social Media Executive. Chloe specialises in social media, content creation, PR and events.
